Agnes Nasner, 89, passed away peacefully at the Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.
Agnes was born February 2, 1922, in Manhattan, MT to Sam and Jennie Dyk. She attended Heeb School in the Manhattan area and went on to attend the College of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, MN. Agnes worked in a doctor’s office in Billings, MT where she met Albert. Agnes and Albert were married on December 5, 1950 in Bozeman, MT. They moved to the family farm where they made their home for 53 years. Agnes was a member of Gospel Fellowship Church and was active in teaching Sunday school in Wolf Point and Billings, also as a helper in Awana in her younger days. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, as well as reading the Bible.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 2007; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Agnes is survived by her son, Duane (Shirley) Nasner and daughter, Rosella (Duane) Kurokawa both of Wolf Point; grandchildren, Lynae (Gary), their children, Hannah, Caleb, and Grace, Scott (Jennifer), their children, Xavier and Kate, Aaron (Kristen), and Lisa.
Agnes looked forward to spending time in Mesa, AZ with Albert during the winters for 20 years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Faith Lutheran Home, for the loving care they provided.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31 at the Gospel Fellowship Church in Wolf Point. If friends desire, memorial contributions can be made to the Gideons or the NEMHS foundation.
