Alan Dale Brunelle, age 56 of Wolf Point passed away June 3, 2008 at Northeast Montana Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point. Alan was born September 13, 1951 in Poplar Montana to Melvin Peterson and Violet Brunelle. He attended The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for schooling for 1st-5th grade then attended 6-8 at Chamberlain Indian School and graduated there. He lived all of his life in the Wolf Point Community.
Alan earned his GED while in the Army, he served the 82nd Airborne.
He attended college for 1 ½ years. He was Catholic and was an Alter boy.
Alan was employed on Oil Rigs, Construction, Bartender and worked for the BIA Road Department. He had membership with the Leonard Dethman Post #54.
He had many interest, one of which was a love for playing horseshoes, playing pool, hunting and fishing and being with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching old Western movies and listening to the golden oldies.
Alan is preceded in death by his Mother Violet, grandparents; William and Lucille Brunelle, his uncle Richard Brunelle, Aunt Debbie DeMarrias and cousin Kim Weston.
Alan is survived by his wife Rita Brown of Wolf Point, son Patrick (Gaydella) Brunelle of Wolf Point., daughters; Gina (Ken) Loup of Wilmont, SD, Sherry (David) Huse of Whitney, TX., Celina Brien of Wolf Point, grandson; Manuel Brown of Wolf Point, Step sons; Brian (Myra) Weston of Wolf Point, Myron (Andrea) Weston of Wolf Point, God son; Cody White Bear of Minot ND, God daughter; Roberta Winsor of Belcourt, ND, sisters; Patricia Morton of Robinson, IL, Georgie (John) Baldry of Hawthorne, NV., Melody (T.K) Billy of Wolf Point, Annie (Don) Moran of Poplar, Robin Hendrickson of Wolf Point, brothers: Mike Winsor of Missoula, MT., Scott Swain of Wolf Point., and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins and grandchildren.
Vigil services will be held Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point.
Funeral will be held 11 a.m. June 9, 2008 at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point with interment at Greenwood Cemetery with Military Honors.
