Albert F. La Roque, 61, of Seattle, WA passed away May 26, 2011 in Seattle.
Albert was born in Poplar, MT on April 5, 1950. He was raised in Bismarck, ND by Mr. & Mrs. James Long, who were his foster parents. He was reunited with his family in 1982. He wanted to learn his roots and spent ten years at home. Albert was an artist and he liked to fish commercially in Alaska. He traveled the country frequently, visiting 34 of the United States, loved music and had a tremendous sense of humor. Albert never married and had no children.
He is survived by his brothers, Henry (Susan) La Roque of Frazer, MT, Earl (Sandy) La Roque Lincoln, MT and Robert (Resa) La Roque Box Elder, MT; sisters, Yvonne (Caleb) Shields of Poplar, MT. Alice Ferarro of Tracy, CA and Irene (Albert) Pacheco of Tracy, CA; and special adopted mother, Izola Ballard of Seattle;
Albert was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Dewayne La Roque and parents, Albert J. La Roque and Victoria B. Foster.
An evening service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, June 6 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point, MT. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
