Alison James Red Boy was born to Ellis Reeves Red Boy and Christine Marie Martell on February 8, 1991 in Wolf Point, MT. He left us at age 18 on January 8, 2010, in Billings, Montana, to be with the lord in heaven. He attended Fort Peck Headstart, went to school in Wolf Point at both southside and northside schools and was currently in 12th grade at Wolf Point High School.
He enjoyed cruising around, bassing out, hanging with friends and family. He loved to draw, as he was very artistic. He was an animal lover; he has a cat named “Roacho” who he raised since it was a kitten. As soon as Roacho would come into the house, Alison would pick him up and they would rub noses. Alison had a very kind heart and a helping hand for his family and friends. Every birthday, he always wanted chili-dogs, and he loved the burritos his father made for him. Family and friends gave him many nicknames: Olson, Ali Kat, Skins, Rap, Hector (because he was always saying “Ah heck”), Skelison, Tater Skins, Gang Member and baby boy. He always had kisses and hugs for his favorite nephew baby D.J. who always put a smile on his face.
He leaves behind his parents of Wolf Point; brothers Deland Red Boy of Wolf Point and Allen Red Boy of Rapid City, SD and little sister Stephanie Red Boy of Wolf Point; grandmothers Alice Red Stone, Josephine Red Stone, Mary Red Stone, Karen Yellow Robe, Merceline Red Boy, Rosella Good Will, Vermae Taylor and Helen Lingle all of Wolf Point, Vera Ironman and Lorraine Stormy of Poplar, MT, Elizabeth Iron Ring of Brockton, MT and Mary Ann Grey Bull from Billings MT; grandfathers George (Shirley) Red Stone, Alvin and William (Jeannie)Yellow Robe of Maine; grandparents Pete and Patty Stump from Oswego; great grandfather Alvin “Cubby” Talks Different from Harlem MT; Uncles Alvah Talks Different, Mike Stump, Frank Chopper, Adrian Red Boy, Tony Keeler, Ray Foote, Stanley Lingle, Keith Yellow Robe and Pete Bird; Aunties Toni Martell, Sharon Martell, Althea (Robert) Deserly, Tiffany Red Stone, Jana Keeler, Ronette Red Boy, Leah Feather, Williamette Ogle, Lesley Red Boy, Lucinda Standing Bear, Laurette Wetsit, Kathy Pomani, Karen Clincher, Mina Lingle, LeeAnn Red Stone and Rose White; cousins Donell, Pete, Krysta, Charles, Trenton, Wilhelmina, Eden, Avah, Amira, Kayla, Keenan, Katie, Melvin, Jacob, Joclynn, Danielle, Farrah, Cody, Abby, Roberta, Mary, Patrick, Ashley and Cante’Waste’; nephews D.J.
