Althea Eagle Boy

May 14, 1965 — November 9, 2014

Our beloved niece, sister, cousin, aunt and Grandma Althea Rose Eagle Boy-Wolff (Good Heart Woman), age 49, went to make her journey to the other side.  Where she was greeted by her mother with open arms and her other relatives who have gone before her, on November 9, 2014 in Billings, MT due to sudden heart complications.

Althea was born May 14, 1965 to Irene Eagle Boy.  She grew up in Chelsea and Poplar.  She went to school in Poplar and later went to Clearfield Job Corp in Utah in which she took Culinary Arts.  Upon returning to Poplar she had a number of jobs which included a pilot car driver and then at A & S Ind. for a few years.  Althea also enjoyed playing machines, Bingo and at times calling Bingo.  She was also a member of Poplar Women’s Pool League for a number of years (and of course was top shooter).

In December of 2003 Althea married Allen Wolff.  Although Al didn’t have children of her own she had grandchildren she thought a lot of, Geoff, Adam and Winter Black Dog and Aaron Hopkins.  Althea also had three she called her Greats-Alara Parshall, Kadence Lovato and Blake Cooper who are her great-grand kids, and a special niece Paigan Kirn.  As everyone knows her other true loves were her cats and dogs.  She is preceded in death by her (our) mother Irene Eagle Boy-Lowry and her brother Rusty Black Thunder, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and two grand babies and also her grandparents, Matthew and Rose Eagle Boy.

Al is survived by her husband Allen Wolff, sister, Steffie Eagle Boy, adopted sister Angeline Red Star (Canada).  She also thought of Pauline Red Eagle and Linda Lezard as her older sisters.  She is survived by one uncle Arnold Eagle Boy and aunties Gloria Buckles and Donna Chase.  Connie Fast Horse is her adopted sister.  Also the Eagle Boy families Iron Bear family, Red Eagle family, Ireland family, Spotted Bird family, Kidder family, Lambert family, Teboe-Lee family, the Buckles family, Parshall family, American Horse family from Cannonball, ND, and the Melbourne family.  Everyone who got the opportunity to befriend Althea Rose knew she always had a smile and a little gossip or a joke.  She will always hold a special place in our hearts.  We will miss her greatly, but her mother needed her more and she needed her mom who she missed deeply every day.

The family would also like to extend their extreme appreciation to the staff at the Billings Clinic for their outstanding help and support.

Our apologies to anyone we may have forgotten to mention as she had many family and friends.

A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Poplar Activity Center, Poplar, Montana.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Poplar Activity Center in Poplar, Montana.  Condolences for the family may be left and www.claytonstevensonchapel.com Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
