Althea Iron Cloud

January 18, 1976 — October 16, 2020

Althea Joy Iron Cloud, Peháğina Yuz Wįyą “Carries the Seasons Woman”, rode the Thunder Bird, October 16, 2020. Althea was born on January 18th, 1976 in Ronan, MT to Anita Nylene Iron Cloud and Wayne Martell.

Althea is survived by her children, Marcus Jay Jackson, Martina Jodine Jackson, and Miles Jeremy Jackson Jr.; father, Wayne Martell; brothers, Jeffrey Low Dog Jr., Alwin Dubois, Albert Schindler, and Alaric Low Dog Sr.; aunties, Linda Iron Cloud, Theresa Iron Cloud, Ruby Whitright, Laurie Hulm, Myrna Whitright, and Patt Iron Cloud; uncles, Chauncey Whitright III, and Boyd Whitright; nephews, Kyson Low Dog, Jayceon Clark, Alaric Jesse Jr., Alveno Low Dog, Macario Schindler, and Aaron L Perry Jr.; nieces, Avery N. Perry, Amya Lowdog, Kaydence Nylene, and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins. We have a very big family, who are all loved dearly.

Althea attended school in many places like Wolf Point and Lodge Grass, as she moved around a lot. She received her G.E.D. from Kicking Horse Job Corps. Althea had many jobs, including customer service, housekeeping, CNA and most recently, as an optometry technician. Althea enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved her kids dearly and she loved to be around them. She had many things she liked to do in her free time; camping, swimming, having BBQs, and cruising. She loved a lot of music, also enjoyed laughing, she always made everybody laugh. She loved all her cousins, she was always there for them especially Bonnie, Krys, Jennifer, Tanya, and Rolinda. Everybody knew Althea was always there to lend a helping hand. If you needed her or if you needed support in anyway, she was there. Althea still had things she wanted to do in life. She was still very young and beautiful. Althea had the biggest heart, beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and she loved everyone so much. It is truly devastating and going to be hard for everyone that loved her, to accept her passing. The memories we do have though, we will hold close to us forever. Althea Joy Iron Cloud will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her mother Anita Iron Cloud; grandparents, Myrna Joy Boyd, Thomas Ira Iron Cloud, Irving Iron Cloud, Wayne Boyd, Joseph Boyd, Angelena Iron Cloud, and Betty Iron Cloud; uncles, William Whitright, Donald Whitright, and Joe Boyd; sister, Arrienne Low Dog; and brother, Aaron Perry.

Althea will be missed by many; we will always love her and cherish the memories that we have.
