Andrea Lynette Davis, age 40, of Devils Lake, North Dakota, formerly of Poplar, Montana, passed away June 22, 2009 in Grand Forks, North Dakota .

Andrea was born October 9, 1968 in Poplar to Evron W. Davis, Sr. and Esther (Buck Elk) Hapa. Andrea was raised in Fort Kipp, Montana. Andrea excelled in high school academically and was a cheerleader during this time.

Andrea was a contestant in the Miss Teen Montana Pageant. She was active in Student Council and editor of the Brockton School newspaper graduating from Brockton High School in 1986. She also lived in Billings and Poplar, Montana.

In 2004 Andrea moved to Devils Lake and attended Grace Baptist Church.

Andrea worked at A & S Industries (deep draw), Poplar Schools, Frostees, A & S Industries (TRW), Spirit Lake Casino and Spirit Lake Group Home. She enjoyed working with plastic canvas and yarn crafts, writing letters, listening to music and visiting on the phone.

Andrea is preceded in death by her father, Evron W. Davis, Sr.; the father of her children, Mike Fourstar; paternal grandmother, Jenny Lester; paternal grandfather, Charlie Daniels; maternal grandfather, Henry Buck Elk, Sr.; and maternal grandmother, Nancy Buck Elk.

Andrea is survived by her significant other, Sheldon Greene of Devils Lake; children, Jenna Youngman (William Kingbird, Sr.) of Redby, Minnesota, and Michael, Thomis, Jeremy and Michaela Fourstar, all of Poplar; mother, Esther Hapa of Fort Kipp; siblings, Carlos Buck Elk of Grand Prairie, Texas, Evron Davis, Jr. (Goldie Red Eagle) of Poplar, Nanette (Aaron) Burshia of Fort Kipp, Tamara (Randy) Firemoon, Sr. of Devils Lake, Jeremiah Davis of Poplar and Ronette Red Boy (Phillip Miller) of Wolf Point.

Wake will begin 7:00 p.m, Sunday, June 28, 2009 at James Black Dog Activities Center in Fort Kipp. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2009 at James Black Dog Activities Center. Interment will follow in Fort Kipp Cemetery.
