Andrew “Gator” Robinson, age 37, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, MT

Gator was born on August 1, 1971 in Wolf Point to Artis “Chic” Robinson and Garry Robinson. He was baptized at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Gator grew up in Wolf Point and attended Wolf Point Schools. He played many sports and received many awards in basketball, football, soccer, baseball and track; he was also a member of the Blue Earth Boxing Club.

Gator graduated in May of 1989. After high school he enlisted and served in the Army for two years. He completed his Boot Camp and A.I.T. training in Fort Knox, KY. He then was stationed in Germany and also was in Desert Storm as an M1 Armor Crewman. After his discharge he returned home to his family and friends, where he remained until his passing.

Gator worked as a BIA Firefighter in the summers. He also worked for Franze Construction as a laborer, BIA Roads Department and up until his passing; he was employed by the Fort Peck IRR Program.

Gator loved playing pool, darts and horseshoes. And of course, we can’t forget his Denver Bronco’s and Lakers teams of which he was an avid fan. Gator loved his family dearly and his sons were his whole world. He lived life to the fullest. He was known to be a good listener to all who felt the need to tell someone their problems. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He was known by his friends as “Brother Man”.

Gator is survived by two sons, Cyler Gage Robinson and Jalen Micheal Robinson of Wolf Point and one daughter, Teal Jordana Lien of Jacksonville FL. Gator was blessed with having two sets of parents and siblings: his parents, Garry and Artis “Chic” Robinson of Wolf Point and John and Sandy Factor of OK; five brothers, Garrick (Tracy) Robinson and Chance Robinson of Wolf Point, Jamie (Sonya) St. Marks of Frazer, MT, Kevin Factor of OK and Chad Factor of Ft. Worth, TX; two sisters, Phoebe Robinson of Phoenix, AZ and Nikki Factor of OK; a grandfather, Art St. Germaine, Sr. of Wolf Point; three aunts, Debbie (Harold) Hamilton of Wolf Point, Paulette St. Germaine of Billings, MT and Teresa St. Germaine of Wolf Point; two uncles, Roger (Kathy) St. Germaine of Wolf Point and Art Jr. (Veronica) St. Germaine of Great Falls, MT and many other aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Laudato, Kenny Azure, Jr., and one grandmother, Donna St. Germaine.

A Wake will be held on Tuesday, Dec 2, 2008 at Silver Wolf Casino, Wolf Point, MT. Viewing will start at 4:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec 3, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Wolf Point, MT. Rite of Committal with full Military Honors will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Wolf Point, MT
