Angela Joy Bighorn Brown., age 63 of Poplar, MT passed away at her residence June 14, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was born September 14, 1944 in Poplar, MT the daughter of the late Leonard and Catherine (LeMay) Bighorn.
Angela graduated from high school and attended beautician school. She especially loved reading her bible, jigsaw puzzles, beading and making bola ties.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Brown.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Bergie, Sr. and grandson, Wyatt Bergie of Poplar, MT that she raised as her own; numerous grandchildren: Lacey Buckles and Chantelle Buckles of Helena, MT, Delight Bergie of Minot, ND, Joseph Bergie, Jr. of Bismark, ND and Chandler Summers of Billings, MT; Nine brothers and sisters: Caroline Baker of Poplar, MT, Leonard (Amanda) Crow Belt of Brockton, MT, Dr. Robin Bighorn of Poplar, MT, Fred (Helen) Bighorn of Brockton, MT, Greg (daughter, Paula Marie) Bighorn, Lyda Brown and Dean Bighorn all of Poplar, MT, April (Danny) Lindsey of Wolf Point, MT, Bruce Bauer of Wolf Point, MT, and Irene (Jim) Flynn of Poplar, MT; nieces and nephews: Taffy, Kathy, Ralph Hamilton, Ben F., Leonard, Loren, Arnie, Vonda, Lesley, Robin Rene, Cheryl, Paula Marie, Kim, Billy, Kaycee, Loralee, Chris, Hunter, Mary, Imani, Harold, Billy, Sr., Christopher, Sr. Rachelle, Royal, Loverty, Billy, Jr., Danny III, Justin, Clarice, Hailey, Shanley, Stanette, Patricia, and numerous great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Red Eagle Presbyterian Church, Ft. Kipp, MT.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Red Eagle Presbyterian Church, Ft. Kipp, MT.
Interment will be in the Ft. Kipp Cemetery.
