Angela “Ange” Lea Summers, went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2016. Ange was born to Robert and Sybil (Half Red) Summers Sr. in Williston, ND on November 8, 1982. She was a 2001 graduate of Poplar High School. Throughout her life, she was employed with The Freez, Frostee’s and most recently, Northeastern Montana Health Services.
Ange enjoyed spending time with family, nieces, nephews, and friends. She had a passion for cooking and baking, fishing, and being outdoors. She enjoyed trivia games, skipbo, dice, cards, and anything involving socializing. Ange will be remembered for her kindness, humor, warmth, laughter, and smile.
Ange had a special companion Richard DeLeon Sr. They spent 9 years together. He was always there when she needed him, he never left her side. They had a special love for the dog they shared, Baby Puppy (BP). Who they bottle fed as a tiny puppy.

Angela was preceded in death by Agnes Kennedy Burshia, Eliza Half Red Lambert, Silvia Half Red, Tonya Lambert, and Lawrence Crowe who she held so close to her heart, Eunice Feather Earring Half Red, Loyal Half Red, Benjamin Burshia, Serena Good Soldier, and Darrell Shields.
A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 1 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
