Anna L. Nichols, age 58, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
She was born on October 30, 1953 to Raymond F. and Phyllis M. Abraham. She was raised in the Vida, MT area and attended grade school at Southview, and later High School in Wolf Point.
Anna worked at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point as a housekeeper and later trained to be a Nurse’s Aide. She worked for Woods Power Grip in 1978 & 1979.
Anna married Thomas Q. Nichols on October 19, 1979 in Sioux Falls, SD. She then worked by his side on their farm where Anna enjoyed raising her chickens, bum lambs, and goats. She also enjoyed gardening, attending Church, teaching Sunday school, working outdoors, fishing, puzzles, collecting antiques, crocheting, and most of all being with friends and family.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Les; and sister, Nancy.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Ken of Lacey, WA, Abe of Wolf Point and Henry of Vida; 6 sisters, Rosa Anderson of Sidney, MT, Mary of Vida, Sally Hollowell (Roger) of Lewistown, Brenda of Wolf Point, Betty Romo (Tom) of Wolf Point and Vicky Boysun (Shawn) of South Wolf Point.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, June 25 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 26 also at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point. A reception will follow at the Elks Club Banquet Room in Wolf Point.
