Anona “Pearl” McConnell went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2017 in Billings Montana. Pearl was born September 26, 1968 in Wolf Point, the daughter of Arlene J. Gomez and Trinidad Gomez.
Pearl grew up in Frazer where she attended school. Throughout school she played basketball and she traveled a lot growing up, mostly with her mother. During her days, she enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards and dice, but she mostly loved being surrounded by her kids and grandchildren.
Later on in life she met the father of her three beautiful children Joseph Muniz III and from there, they had Joseph Muniz IV, Clarissa Muniz, Marcus Muniz, all of Wolf Point. She is also survived by her grandchildren Quincy, Ceasar, and Kaylohni Shy face, Jacey Rodgers, and Xavier Rattling Thunder. She spent the remaining time of her life with her companion Terry Yellowhawk whom she loved dearly. She had a big heart and loved everybody.
She is survived by her brothers Harris McConnell and Ira Follet Sr.; her uncle Tyrus (Fern) Follet of Wolf Point, uncle Richard (Teddi) McConnell Sr. of Billings, her aunt Ruth Todd of Frazer, uncle Dean Blount of Frazer, Auntie Donna Follet of Wolf Point; as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
She was proceeded in death by her mother Arlene Joyce Gomez, stepfather Trinidad Bustamonte Gomez, her father Joseph McConnell; brother Simon Peter Follet, and nephew Sloan Trevor Follet, Eric Follet, her maternal and paternal Grandparents,; uncles Abel, Elvis, Harry, and aunty Sadie.
A prayer service will be held 7:00 pm Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Clayton Stevenson Chapel in Wolf Point, Montana. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point, Montana. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery in Oswego, Montana.
