A loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Arline Rabenberg, age 76, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Billings Clinic. After many years of sickness, she has finally gone to be with her Savior.
Arline, the daughter of Carl and Magdalena Presser, was born on June 2, 1936 in Wolf Point. She attended grade school in Presserville and high school at the Northwestern Lutheran Academy. This is where she met her future husband, John Rabenberg. Arline went on to attend the Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.
Arline and John were married on July 8, 1956. To this union four children were born. She enjoyed many church activities where she played the organ and taught Sunday school at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Arline was a member of the Roosevelt County Museum, Prairie Elk Homemaker’s club, 4-H Prairie Elk, and the Montana Board of Nursing Home Administrators. She enjoyed bowling and selling Mary Kay and Melaleuca products.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Magdalena and Carl Presser; grandson, Paskel Falcon; and son, Rick Rabenberg.
Arline is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Rabenberg of Wolf Point; sons, Darwin (Susan) Rabenberg of Newcastle, WY, and David (Nancy) Rabenberg of Laurel, MT; daughter, Tina (Lynn) Falcon of Trenton, ND; grandchildren, Amanda Rabenberg, Stacey (Nathan) Lofing, Rachel (Newton) Petersen, Rebecca Rabenberg, Angie (Kurt) Kellum, Jenifer (Henry) Knaub, Pierre Falcon, Arosea (Jerry) Hoppe, Ceanna Falcon, and John Falcon; 7 great grandchildren; and brothers, Robert (Cleta) Presser of Salem, OR, Walt (Mary) Presser of Chicago, IL, and Harvey (Sharon) Presser of Denver, CO.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the family service at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 1 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 2 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
If friends desire, memorials may be made to either the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wolf Point, MT or to a charity of your choice.
