Arnold Mueller, age 86, of Wolf Point, MT passed away on April 2, 2012 in Apache Junction, AZ, following a brief illness.
Arnie Mueller was born April 5th 1926 in Wolf Point Montana. He attended school thru the 5th grade at the Sunny Side Country School south of Wolf Point. He then graduated from WP High School in 1944. Following school Arnie worked in various jobs in Billings & Great Falls. In 1971 he returned to his family farm on Nickwall road in McCone County and worked farming and dispatching for the Roosevelt County Sheriffs Department for 17 years. Arnie retired in 1995 and spent his winters in Apache Junction AZ, returning to Wolf Point each summer.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Walter & Nina Mueller, two brothers Donald and Arthur Mueller and wife Joy Madison Mueller all of Wolf Point.
Arnie is survived by his special friend Doris Hanks, sister Margaret Brown of Wolf Point and 3 children Bob (Michelle) Mueller of Benicia, CA, John (Sherry) Mueller of Payton CO, Beth (Bob) Hunt of White Sulphur Springs MT; 6 grandchildren Joel Hunt, Lorinda Hunt and Sara Hunt, Dylan Mueller and Chelsea and Eliot Betsch one great-grandson Rylen Robert Hunt and many nieces and nephews.
Arnie enjoyed fishing, dancing, socializing and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his ready smile and the easy way he had of enjoying everyone around him.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
