Betty Ann Schwarzrock went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2022. Betty was born to Pearl and William Ryttling on May 17, 1938. Betty attended school in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Betty met Lyle Schwarzrock while he was stationed at the Air Force Base in Mountain Home, Idaho. Mom liked to go and help Lyle while he helped a farmer hay. She drove the tractor while he stacked the hay. They liked to go dancing on the weekends.
Lyle and Betty were married on August 8, 1957. They moved to Montana to the farm with Lyle’s Dad and Mom. Mom helped with the haying and working the cows. Mom also planted a large garden and canned her produce that she harvested. Mom did many jobs on the farm. She made the best rhubarb pie and jam. Mom always had fresh cookies and bread when friends came to visit with a good cup of coffee. Family and friends were welcome to come and visit. Mom enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her husband Lyle of 64 years; her children Coleen (Joe), Russell (Cheri), Wesley (Ellen), Chris and Guy; her sisters Barbara Dickens and Billie Shelby and sister-in-law Pearl Floyd of North Carolina. Mom has 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mom has many nieces and nephews, who enjoyed visiting with her.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Pearl and William Ryttling, her in laws Alice and Eddy Schwarzrock and her grandson Raymond LaRoche.
Betty will be missed by her family and friends.
