Brady Lynn Smith, age 21, of Poplar MT passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Poplar. Brady was born in Poplar on September 13, 1994 to Ronnie Smith SR and Billie Rae Dupree. Brandy attended Poplar Schools where he participated in AAU and High School wrestling. After High School he participated in Mixed Martial Arts. Brady enjoyed many activities such as shooting guns, riding 4wheelers, video games, working out and even driving. Although Brady had a vision impairment it never stopped him from living his life to the fullest. Brady’s love for Ramen Noodles was unconditional. Brady shared a special bond with his Dad, Ronnie. They loved each-others company with many inside jokes. Brady and Tory Martell brought their son Braydan Liam Smith into this world on August 3, 2014, who was the light of his life.
He is survived by his son, Braydan Smith; mother, Billie Ray Dupree; father, Ronnie Smith; siblings, Ronnie Smith Jr., Charles Smith, Reuben Smith, Jaylin Fuerherm, Ashtin Lamere, Paiton Dupree, A’raja Dupree, and Reuben Castro; grandparents, Raymond Dupree, Gail Charbonneau, Cathy Murray, and Mike LaFloe; aunts, Darlene Owens, Brandy Smith Azure, Sunnee (Keith) Smith Erickson, Shyann (Allen) Buckles, Raylene (Casey) Wetsit, Sammi (Riggins) Smith; uncles, Ronnie Harris and family, Robert Paul Lee, Buddy Smith, and Cedric LaFromboise; first cousins, Heather Lee, Chiefy Ryan, Avery Azure, Kaelen Smith, Brenden Lee, Robert Lee Jr., Kessee Erickson, Keilen Erickson, Kylie Lafromboise, Brant Lafromboise, Spenser, Cory and Casey Murphy, Precious, Latesha, Lakesha, Penny, and Raymond Comeslast, Isaiah Owens, Anthony Ducan, Alex and Erin Buckles, Casey, Raine, Cloud, Rayauna Wetsit, Rillie, Renne’, Ryan,Shailynn Smith. Also Crystal Trottier whom he took as a sister; and extended family, the Buckles and the Grainger families.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles “Lynnie” Smith; aunt, Rosebud Dupree; and friends, Lane and Kristin Ferguson.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 10 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Poplar City Cemetery in Poplar. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
