Our sister, mother, aunt and grandmother, Brenda Clara Drum-Stormy,

Age 46, of Poplar, MT, left this world on April 10, 2009.

Brenda was born April 13, 1962 to the late Neal Drum and Viola Crow Feather in Poplar. She attended school in Ashland, MT, Washington, and Wahpeton, ND. She was raised by her Grandmother Mary Red Feather.

Brenda lived most of her life in Poplar. She enjoyed beading, spending time with her friends, and cruising around, visiting family and friends. She loved listening to Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Shaggy. She also had a big heart to help others when needed.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Neal Drum and Viola Crow Feather; grandmother, Mary Red Feather; sister, Audrey Drum; uncles, Gary Drum, Allen Drum, Sr., Maynard Drum, and Francis Feather Earring; aunts, Verna Grey Bull and Pearl No Runner; a cousin, Calvin “Kelly” Melbourne, Jr. and many of her close friends.

Brenda is survived by her sister, Mary (Alvin) Savior, Sr. of Poplar; sons, Allen (Laureen) Russell, Jr. of Poplar and Gary O. Drum of Poplar; daughters, Autumn and Apryl Stormy of Poplar; special nieces, Ida (Darrell) Follette, Sariah Red Eagle and Summer Drum, all of Poplar; nephew, Curtis Red Eagle, Jr. of Poplar; adopted son, Brian (Trudy) Eder of Brockton, MT; grandchildren, Alleen, Princess, Malcom, Allen III and Maryah Russell, Kyra Stormy, Chelle, Darrell Jr., and Neal Follette, all of Poplar, and Jasmine, Brian Jr. and Hally, of Brockton; a special longtime companion, Harold Firemoon of Poplar; aunts, Isabelle Crow Feather and Melda Crow Feather, both of Kennell , SD, Iris Grey Bull and family of Poplar, and RoseAnn Boyd and family of Fort Kipp; uncle Arthur Grey Bull, Jr. and family of Chelsea, MT; cousins, John Spotted Bird, Sr., Charlene, Lorna and Silas of Brockton, and Allen, Jr., Anna and Maria Drum, of CA; adopted mother, Francis Nation of Poplar; adopted brothers, Donald and Lloyd Iceman and adopted sisters, Francine, Monie and Robin Iceman, all of Poplar; foster dad, Melton and foster sister, Linda Cotton of TX and foster sister, Becky Robinson of WA. Extended family includes Iron Bears, GreyHawks, Merculieffs and Red Eagle Family all of Poplar, and No Runner of Browning, MT, Long Foxes and Grays of Fort Belknap, MT, and Four Bear, Chopper, Lambert and Martell Families, all of the Fort Peck Reservation. If we have forgotten anybody, it is not our intention.

Prayer Service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009 also at Poplar Cultural Center. Burial of ashes with family at a later date.
