Caleb was born on June 2, 1970. He was an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes. He attended school in Poplar, Libby, MT, and Othelo, WA. Caleb lived with his sister, Maureen Larson in Othelo. Where he says he worked on a dairy farm and also helped take care of horses. When you heard Caleb talk about his farm work you could tell he really enjoyed that work. Caleb then moved to Portland, OR with his mother for a couple years. HE was always ready to lend a helping hand. If you needed any yard work done or needed something fixed, he would do his best to fix it or figure out a way to fit it somehow. Caleb enjoyed fishing, cruising around listening to music when he had access to a vehicle and walking around visiting with friends and family. He enjoyed making jokes and teasing around with anyone he talked to. Caleb enjoyed listening to powwow music. He wasn’t a mechanic but he loved tinkering around with cars. Caleb enjoyed spending time and sometimes holidays with his daughter and grandchildren. He always made sure his daughter and grandchildren were okay and to also see how his close friend Annie was doing. Caleb would also walk down the alley to see his adopted mother, Eunice Granbois and his adopted brother, Bryce Granbois. He was always active whether it be walking, power walking, or riding a bike.
