Carol Ann Marie Mann, surrounded by her family and loved ones, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on May 26th, 2009 in Billings, MT. Our Mother was born January 23rd, 1941 in Elbowoods, ND, to Francis Irwin and Flora Wells Blacktail. She was an only child but her mother raised her first cousin Eliisa Hazard who was like a little sister on the Wells side. All her first cousins became her brothers and sisters, which includes Yvonne White, Vina McDonald, Pat Blake, Hollis Blake, Elvira Mahto, Bernadine Wilson, Bobbi Larson, Karen Howe, Kathy St. Augustine, Carl Mahto, Elgie Mahto, Marcus Wells Sr, Bill Wells Jr., Steve Wells, Chuck Wells, June Schettler, Polly Patterson and Babe Wells on her maternal side. She was supportive to her daughters and especially devoted to her grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, instilling into them that education was to succeed in life. Mom attended sports and school functions for all her grand children and great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to her, mom taught us to love and care for one another, and first and foremost to attend church and to have a relationship with the Lord. Mom married Clarence D. Mann January 23rd, 1972 in Wolf Point. They were married for 22 yrs. until the time of his passing. Together they formed the Mann Trucking, Inc . business. Mom was a member of the Prairie Chicken Clan, small minority business member, Elks Lodge member and Chairman of JOM. She volunteered her time for community services at the Basket of Hope and Thrift Store. Mom was an active member of Blue Sky Ministries, attending Morris Cerullo Conference’s in California. She was very involved in the Blue Sky Ministries Camp Meetings that were held every summer. Mom was able to attend some camp meetings in Canada. Mom we love you and will miss you dearly, we have a tough road ahead of us without you, you were our rock. You have given us your strength and wisdom to carry on and go forth in our family. Thank you for being our Mom, you are forever in our hearts. Please forgive us if we forgot to mention some names it wasn’t our intention. We come from a very large family. Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beautiful is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, She shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.
