Catherine Escarcega Peterson age 74, of Wolf Point, MT, passed away February 21, 2009 at the Valley Care Center in Billings, MT of Diabetes complications.
She was born in Wiota, MT on July 4, 1934 to Joseph and Bessie (Cox) Escarcega.
Catherine had a great love of family and friends and she loved to travel and watch her grandchildren fish or any outdoor activities.
Survivors include her husband Donald Peterson of Wolf Point, MT; children, Florence McKay, Lois Eder and Gary Peterson, all of Wolf Point, MT and Lori Peterson of Miles City MT; brothers, Tom (Esther) Escarcega of Poplar, MT and Robert Escarcega of Federal Way, WA; and various nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation is from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point, MT followed by a Vigil Service at 3:00 p.m. with Father Steve Zabrocki officiating. Cremation will follow. A Feed at the Frazer Community Hall will be held after the Vigil Service. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com.
