Chandlor Alexis Garfield, age 19, was born on November 5, 1999, the daughter of Nadine Adams and Dean Garfield. Chandlor was born and raised in Wolf Point, MT where she graduated in 2018. She was currently attending college and was adamant to one day own her own business. Chandlor was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Her employment started at the age of 14 which included working at the American Legion, Old Town Grill, Sherman Motor Inn and most recently at the Pizza Joint. From the moment she was born, her hazel eyes lit up everyone’s world. Chandlor was literally the baby of the family and wouldn’t let her siblings forget that she was Mom’s “Fav”. In time she grew and became more than a daughter and sister to us, but became our best friend. She was the jewel in her Grandma Beeb’s crown and had her Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Janice wrapped around her finger from day one. Her smile and infectious laughter could melt anyone’s heart and they would be cast under her spell. Chandlor “Bing”, as she was affectionately dubbed by her family and friends, had a unique sense of humor that was as colorful as her many shades of hair. She was very artistic in all areas, but one that stood out was her makeup skills that could rival any Hollywood artist whether it was Halloween gore or movie star glam.
Chandlor’s social life began at a very early age when she would not be seen without her cousins Calvin, Ti’Lynn or Thacher at her side. Later, that included hanging out with friends, Jayden Joe (deceased) and Sam. Later her “Squad” included Cherish & Mike, Aeryn, Jayden, Delia, Michael, Rog, Celeste, Ayanna, a good friend Jayda and best friend/ later boyfriend Neal, plus others too numerous to mention. They could be found doing “squad things”, also sledding, cruising, listening to music, going to the lake or eating her many food concoctions that she liked to experiment with. She recently developed a family bond with Cierra and BJ at the Pizza Joint.
In her early teens, Chandlor developed a love for alternative/metal bands and would have gotten many piercings, tattoos, and hair colors at that age, had her mom let her. A highlight of Chan’s young life was the many music concerts she attended with her friends; especially the Warped Tour. Chandlor had many mentor’s in her life that include, her grandparents whom she loved, Auntie Monica who she worked with, Cookie Ragland, Sharon Kolstad, Harry Beauchamp, and art teacher Vivian Schultz. She loved to watch AHS and scary movies with her Auntie Nelly. Another title that Chandlor was proud to sport around was that of Auntie. She loved & cared for all her nephews and nieces (Tade, Keein, Kashlyn, Keyal, Kree, Kori and Krue).
She is survived by her mother and father, sisters Kaci Wallette and Kayla Hentges (Apollo Ackerman) of Wolf Point, MT, brothers Kelley Hentges of Tomahawk Ranch and Kade Jensen of Belgrade, MT, special friend Neal Iron Cloud Jr., her Birthday buddy Iris “Oosh” Campbell, Grandfather and Grandmother Chuck and Janice Garfield of Wolf Point, MT, Grandmother, Janet Garfield of Kansas, Great Grandmother May Martin, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by twin brothers K.B. Ryan and Kolen Ross, Grandmother Naomi Adams, Great Grandmother Aggie Garfield, Uncles Roy C. Adams and Chad Garfield, many cousins, best friend’s Jayden Joe and Lazurus Jones.
