Clarence “Indian” Jackson, age 52, of Frazer, MT went to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep and surrounded by his family on February 10, 2012 at Northeast Montana Health Services Hospital in Wolf Point, MT.
He was born to Mary Brockie Hayes and Wilbert Jackson on January 3, 1960 in Frazer.
Indian grew up and attended schools in Frazer. He worked at various jobs including A&S Industries for a number of years, firefighting, seismographer, and as a ranch hand for several ranchers. He traveled the country Wild Horse Racing with his family and friends to numerous to mention.
Indian is survived by his mother, Mary Brockie Hayes of Frazer, his son, Stonewall Jackson of Wolf Point; sisters, Mary Sue Jackson of Frazer and Wilberta (Marvin) Toavs of Wolf Point; grandsons, Tony Ray Jackson and Jimmy James Jackson; and his special granddaughter, Madison Sioux Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren; aunt, Ann V. Helgeson and uncle, Henry “Prince” Brockie (Ruby) both of Hays, MT; and adopted mother, Arlene Standing.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jordie Jackson; his father, Wilbert Jackson; four brothers, Chief, Emer, Stonewall and James; and a sister, Toni.
A Four Day Feast will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 13 at Frazer Community Hall in Frazer. A Wake will follow with evening services at 7 p.m. His Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14 also at the Frazer Community Hall. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Frazer.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
