Clay Reum

Clay Alan Reum passed away peacefully on October 9, 2022, at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, MT at the age of 28.

Clay Alan Reum was born on April 18 th, 1994, to Diana Rae Morales and Donald Samuel Reum Sr. (Sam).

Growing up Clay loved animals He was always bringing home strays he found. He always had a puppy, kitty, or both. Clay currently had two dogs he considered his babies Jasper and Timber.

Clay grew up in Wolf Point, MT where he attended Wolf Point Public Schools. Clay loved his family, his first and best friends were his cousins Conrad, Brandon, Paul and Brett. Clay was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed his help. He received his G.E.D at the age of 16 and then begin working at Ace Hardware. He also worked at Lucky Lil’s in Wolf Point before moving to Polson MT in 2014. While in Polson Clay worked at the KwaTaqNuk Resort and Casino. While enjoying his life in Polson, Clay made sure to keep in touch with his family back home. He would call his sister Norma and dad “Big Sam” always making sure that his family was doing well. He like to check on his brother Sammy, Mother Diana, his nieces and nephews, Dad, and sister making sure even though he was far away by distance he was close at heart.  He liked to send weekend money to his nieces and nephews so they could have fun on him.

Clay moved back to Wolf Point, MT in November 2020 following the passing of his father. He decided to stay in Wolf Point to help care for his brother and his niece and nephews whom he helped raise from 2020 to 2022. His niece Emma and nephews Cole and Jakeb held a special place in his heart. His dogs, nieces and nephews where a joy in Clay’s life.

Clay is survived by his mother Diana Morales of Wolf Point, MT. Sisters Jodi Smith (and children) of St. Anthony ID, Stella Reum (and children) and of Wolf Point, Donna Reum of Wolf Point, Norma (Mylan) Reum and children of Wolf Point, adopted sister Sandi Hamilton Azure and children. Brothers Donald Samuel Reum Jr. (Sammy) of Wolf Point, and Michael Gann of Missoula, MT. Nieces and nephews Emma, Jakeb, Cole, Samantha. Clay is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that were like family.

Clay is proceeded in death by his father Donald Reum, sister Sherry Reum, and brother Ricky Smith. His paternal grandparents Idabelle Reum and Eli ‘Storky’ Reum. Maternal grandparents Seraphine Morales and Arden Mireau Morales. Cousins Paul and Brett Morales, Aunt Sarah Morales, Uncle Jason Morales.

A wake will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Wolf Point Community Hall. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Chicken Hill Cemetery.
