Cody Romo

July 8, 1975 — February 7, 2025

Bainville

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cody Romo, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend on February 7th, 2025.

Cody Dale was born on July 8th, 1975 to Dale and Rochelle (Berge) Romo in Wolf Point, MT. He joined older brother Paul and a few years later his sister Danielle was born completing the family.

When Cody was 3 years old, he began taking his toys apart and fixing them which led to a lifelong career as a mechanic. He attended Bainville public school where he participated in FFA, Vo-Ag, basketball and 4-H. Cody graduated high school in 1993 and then went on to obtain a mechanics degree from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton.

Cody was employed at OK Tire and Stockman Ford before his current position at Horizon Resources. Although he could fix any vehicle, he had a love for old FORDs. His pride and joy was a 66 Fairlane that he restored from the ground up.

Family was very important to Cody. He looked forward to holidays where he would always be seen with a heaping plateful of turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy. He enjoyed spending time with his nephew Austin teaching him how to maintain the family vehicles and loved reading and playing with his niece Adaani.

Cody had a special interest in learning about World War II and could often be found sharing a cup of coffee with his Grandpa Richard Berge who was an MIA/POW Army Veteran in Germany.

Cody is survived by his parents, Dale and Rochelle Romo, brother Paul Romo, sister Danielle Romo, nephew Austin Romo, niece Adaani Romo and numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents Paul B. Romo and Ella Romo Pacovsky, Step-Grandpa Vernon Pacovsky, maternal Grandparents Richard and Phyllis Berge and numerous Great Uncles and Aunts.
