Corinne Yvonne Jones, age 46, of Wolf Point passed away October 20, 2014 at her residence near Wolf Point. She was born on November 7, 1967 to Alaida Suzanne Hopkins-Jones and Joseph Harold Jones. She attended elementary school and junior high in Poplar.
She lived most of her life in Oswego, Montana with her parents and resided there until her untimely death. She also lived briefly in Great Falls where she was employed at the Holiday Inn as a housekeeper.
She loved to listen to various country songs and enjoyed her classic rock. She loved riding around with her family and loved to play the gaming machines. Her favorite television programs were: the food network shows, ‘Golden Girls’, ‘Frasier’, and ‘I Love Lucy’. She also enjoyed visiting on the phone.
Despite her many medical disabilities she never let on that they were detrimental to her. She battled through her disabilities.
Corinne is survived by her son Joseph William Jones (Joey) and by her brothers Henry ‘Hank’ (Ivy) Buckles and Dana Sam (Melissa) Buckles. She is survived by her sister Phoebe (Richard) Blount and her nieces Tashina, Kahteri, Molly, Wendy, and her nephews Tristian and Daniel. She is survived her grandchildren Jax Buckles and Luxanna Buckles.
Corinne is preceded in death by her parents.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Oswego Community Hall in Oswego. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery in Oswego.
