Corrine Brown

Corrine was born to the late Tony and Mattie Ina Boxer on August 20, 1948 in Poplar, MT. Queenie was married to Art Brown, Jr. and from this union she had six sons and one daughter.

Queenie lived her life in Poplar where she was educated and later went to school in Clinton, Iowa and Madera, California.  She returned to Poplar where she was employed at Poplar Head Start Center as a teacher’s aid. After her working career, she devoted her life to raising her family.

Queenie enjoyed spending time with her grandsons Orian Azure and Kaysen Brown, Jordan Brown and Arthur whom she raised as a son.

Queenie is survived by her husband Art, sons Jay and Tenille Brown of Trenton, ND, Tony and Luann Brown of Poplar, Brandon Brown, Arthur Brown III, Cory Brown, Jumbo Brown; daughter Kali Brown, Orian Azure of Poplar; brothers William Hawk of Miles City, Tony and Sharon Boxer of Poplar, Sherman Boxer of Denver, CO, ardey Boxer of Bismarck, ND; sister-in-law Pauline Boxer of Poplar.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Ina Boxer; brothers Irvin Iron Cloud, Lawrence Chiefy Boxer, Leonard Boxer and sister Genivive Wise Spirit.
