Cynthia “Sammy Jo” Rene Follet, age 38, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Poplar Hospital due to complications in flight on the way to Billings, MT.
Cynthia was born to Harry Follet Jr. and Dorothy Begs His Own on January 11, 1972 in Wolf Point, MT. She attended school in Frazer where she participated in school activities. Cynthia spent most of her life in Frazer. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, root digging, fishing and hunting. Her favorite saying was “I love you with my whole heart.” Cynthia had worked at the Town Pump in Wolf Point and helped bartend at Baby Lonnie’s Beer Mug in Frazer.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Wayne Follet of Frazer, Shanon Wayne BigLeggins Jr. of Wolf Point, Chantelle Rose Folle, Shayna LaRae TurnToes, and Clayton Reed “Stanley” White, all of Frazer; 5 grandchildren with one on the way; sisters, Harriet (Raymond) Follet, and Valerie Follet both of Wolf Point, Blossom Star Follet Eagleman of Rocky Boy, MT; brothers, Luke Follet of McGlavlyn, ND, Pat Follet of Glendive, MT, Kerby Follet and Orlando Follet both of Wolf Point; aunt, Sadie (Dean) Blount of Frazer; and uncle, Tyrus (Fern) Follet of Wolf Point.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy; nephews, Sloan Follet, Charles Follet, and Seth Follet; cousin, Eric Follet; uncles, Elvis Follet Sr. and Abel Follet; and aunt, Arlene Gomez.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 at the Oswego Community Hall in Oswego, MT. Cynthia’s funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 also at the Oswego Community Hall in Oswego. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery.
