Daisy Lynn (Martell) Fisher passed away unexpectedly at Billings Clinic on July 11, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.
Daisy was born in Poplar, MT on September 16, 1959. She grew up in Poplar, Wolf Point, and Glasgow. Daisy was an avid beader and is known by many for her beautiful beadwork. Daisy was a blessing, who continue to bliss all those in her immediate family and all those who knew her. Daisy gave her brothers and sisters guidance in her younger years, which always included her love that she got from her mother that she shared with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Daisy was brave and never worried through tough times. Daisy passed on her traits to her daughters and son, who she says were her life’s greatest gifts.
Daisy met the love of her life Harold Fisher Jr. in 1976. They finally married in 20 of this union they had 3 daughters, Devona Fisher, Amber Fisher Angelica Fisher and 1 son, Corwin Fisher. They lived in Lame Deer MT for a few years and then moved to Poplar where they resided until her passing.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Fisher Jr.; daughters, Devona Fisher, Amber Fisher, and Angelica Fisher and son, Corwin Fisher all of Poplar; brothers, Richard Garfield of Sweet Home, OR, Maynard Prentice of Bismarck, ND, Alan Owens of Billings, MT, Denny Owens of Poplar, and Troy Owens of Wolf Point; sisters, Paula Owens of Poplar and Christie Owens of Washington; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; half siblings, Alan Martell, Charlene Martell, Rick Martell, and Timothy Martell; adopted daughters, Sudi Pipe, Denise Bear, and Candice Black Dog; adopted sister, Mary Anne “Squeaky” Comeslast.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Faye Garfield; father, Reginald Owens Sr.; brothers, Dennis “Adam” Owens Jr.; and sister, April Owens; and half brother, Mark Martell.
