D’Andre was born to Kam Corpron on 09/10/97 in Wolf Point, Mt. He was raised by his grandparents, Lois and Dusty Black until he was 2 years old. At two, he came to the Haag family as a foster boy and adopted by them when he was four. D’Andre was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 6 at a young age. He had many obstacles to overcome with many broken bones but that never held him back. D’Andre got to go to Florida through the Make a Wish Foundation. His favorite food was Indian fry bread! He attended school in Whitewater through his 2nd grade. He moved with his family to Malta in 2005 and started 3rd grade. D’Andre loved going to school and being with his classmates. One of his favorite pastimes was to banter back and forth with the teachers. D’Andre was apart, of a group called the M&M’s. He was a member of the National Honor Society. He loved being involved with the Speech and Drama class. D’Andre, thrived on being with people and he didn’t know a stranger. He loved going to the store to see people and Phillips County Hospital where they spoiled him rotten. Due to D’Andres illness, he had to make many trips to the Shriners Hospital for Children and Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. He loved to go to Shriners and wheel around the place as if he owned it. All the kitchen staff, doctors and nurses, care coordinators, physical therapists, and aids took a very personal interest in his care. They knew that D’Andre was a very special young man and they loved him. His senior year he was skyped in to the Malta High school from the Billings Hospital, and was nominated by his class as homecoming King. Due to his critical physical problems, he was flown from Billings Hospital to Primary children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. While in the ICU the doctors gave him two months to live. He said he just wanted to graduate from high school. His principle and teacher flew in to award him, his High school Diploma early. He not only made it two months but he was able to attend his regular high school graduation in May of 2015. That was the last time he was in a hospital until this last week.
