Darlene Kwasney Hogan, a young 56 years, of Circle, MT went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2008, while at home with her family after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
Darlene was born April 1, 1952 to Bill and Christine (Reinhart) Kwasney in Circle, MT. She attended school in Circle. She married the love of her life, Calvin Hogan, on June 6, 1970.
Darlene enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, making doilies, gardening, growing beautiful flowers, hunting, taxidermy, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Darlene was known as a dependable hard worker at every task she set to accomplish. She was president of the Ladies Auxiliary to POST 4813 in 1978-79. She gains valuable friendships on her journey.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 38 years; daughter, Carolyn Hogan, U.S. Army of Mannheim, Germany; sons Darin Hogan of Great Falls, MT and Rick (Natasha) Hogan of Circle; her joys were her grandchildren, Jazman Reed, Rose Marie, Katelyn, Rylan and Caden; her brother, Larry (Liz) Kwasney of Circle and half-brother, Ernie Feichkert of Circle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, Circle. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Circle Evangelical Church. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Circle.
