Darren Daniel Burshia, 40, of Wolf Point, MT passed from this life on January 6, 2012 in Billings, MT.
He was born July 3, 1971 to parents, Percy Daniel Comeslast and Lavanna Muskrat Burshia. He grew up in Wolf Point until the age of sixteen when he moved to Indiana. Later her met and married Michelle Kennedy and had one son, Matthew Dwayne Burshia who survives. He returned to Wolf Point at 20 years of age and remained there until his passing. In 1999, Darren and Tammy Keiser joined and became a family with her children, Melvin, Brandon, Tyler, Oceanna, and Taja.
Darren was a man given to fun and laughter and enjoyed making people smile. He loved his family, fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes, and pool. He was a man of gentleness and kindness and was much beloved by all who knew him.
Survivors include son, Matthew Dwayne Burshia of Danville, IN; sisters, Holly (Thomas Flynn Jr.) Cantrell and Jatanna ( Corwin Fourstar, Sr.) Red Elk Fourstar
both of Wolf Point; brothers, Percy Jr., Lucas both of Seattle, WA; sisters, Liza and Tanya both of Seattle; brother, Dorince of Poplar, Casey of Williston, ND and Dorian of Omar, WA.
Darren was preceded in death by his father, Percy Comeslast; mother, Lavanna Muskrat; brothers, Kerri, Denny Comeslast, and one son, Brandon Keiser.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 10 at the Community Hall in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 11 also at the Community Hall in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery in Oswego, MT.
