David Frank Ebner, age 58,
of Wolf Point, MT
David Frank Ebner, age 58, of Wolf Point, MT died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, MT. He was born August 24, 1951 in Erie, PA to the late Frank and Shirley (Cole) Ebner.
David obtained an AA Degree in Engineering and Manufacturing from Yavapai Community College in Prescott, AZ, and became a gunsmith. He was a self employed gunsmith for many years and enjoyed hobbies of hiking, camping and was a member of the former National Camper and Hiking Association for 20 years before it was dissolved, R V’ing and was a member of the Good Sam’s Club for 10 years. He also enjoyed stain glasswork, silversmithing making jewelry, and pottery. He liked to help others also disabled in the community.
He married his wife of 34 years, the former Dorlis Jane Mc Daniel, July 5, 1975 in Phoenix, AZ. David and his wife Dorlis have lived in Wolf Point for 10 years.
Surviving include David’s wife Dorlis Jane of Wolf Point, MT; one brother John C. Ebner of and a nephew Air Force Major Jarrod Ebner of both Port Townsend, WA and serving in Afghanistan.
David was preceded in death by both his parents in 2004.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in David’s memory.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planed at this time.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
