Delphine Florence Littlehead LeMay age 83 passed away in Great Falls on April 28, 2019. Delphine was born October 25, 1935 in Riverside to parents Benjamin and Evangeline “Bessie” Littlehead Cloud.
Delphine attended Brockton schools and went on to get her accounting degree at Billings Business College. She started her career as an accounting tech and finished her career as a financial management officer with IHS. Service units included Billings, Portland, Anchorage, Window Rock, Albuquerque, ending her career with IHS in Rockville Maryland. She then moved back to the Fort Peck reservation and worked with the Tribal Health and Spotted Bull Recovery Center.
Delphine was a member of the Makaicu Presbyterian Church and loved watching all sports. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in extracurricular activities and the youth associations.
Delphine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fredrick James LeMay; her sisters Romaine Firemoon, Amanda Bighorn, Ginger Littlehead, Elizabeth “Betty” Iron Ring; her brothers Arnold Littlehead; her sons Fredrick LeMay and Edward Harilton; and her daughters Francine LeMay and Laurie Hamilton.
She is survived by her daughters Fayda F. Simmons (Sammy), Floreen (John) Person, Deanne (Elvis) Eagle and Fonda K (Gerald) Flores; her son Edward Doyle LeMay; her sisters Velma Nepsted and Elaine Little Head; brother-in-law, Leonard Crowbelt; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Brockton Cultural Center. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Brockton Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Riverside family cemetery.
