Delores Dureen Ricker Bull Chief went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point, Montana.
She was born March 20, 1938 to Ted Ricker, Sr. and Mildred Ricker and was raised and attended school in Poplar, Montana. Delores lived a very long life full of love, respect, kindness, and fun. She enjoyed the company of others in downtown Poplar and in the community. Delores had a very good friend, Elsie King and a favorite niece, Doreen Red Eagle.
Delores will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Angela Marie, Taniya Faye, Nichelle Dawn, and Marcus Devoughn , and great granddaughter Qhuienna Caley.
Delores is survived by one daughter, Tonya (Alfred) Savior of Bismarck, North Dakota, and one brother, George (Helen) Ricker of Poplar.
Delores is preceded in death by her father, Ted Ricker, Sr.; mother, Mildred Mae Ricker; husband, Nathan Bull Chief; a son, Francis Ricker; a grandson, Elmer S. Red Eagle III; three sisters, Ida, Catherine and Mildred Faye; and three brothers, Sherman, Ted Jr. and Harry Ricker.
Prayer Services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Lindsey Memorial Presbyterian Church in Poplar. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the Poplar City Cemetery. Pastor Steve Smith will be officiating.
