Dorita Bessie (Brown) Morin, age 51 went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2015 at Great Falls Benefis Hospital.
She was born November 30, 1963 at Trinity Hospital to Beverly Buckley and Gerald Leo Brown. She grew up in Wolf Point and Frazer, attending both schools there, then went to Job Corps in Ronan where she graduated with a Culinary Arts degree. She worked at the Trading Post in east Frazer, McDonalds in Cut Bank and Wolf Point and various other jobs. Her first job was the White Star laundry at age 16, one of her proud memories.
She is survived by her husband Andrew Morin of Hays; her mother Beverly Buckley of Browning; sisters Sharon Brown (Little Plume) twin sister Donita (Bill) King of Cut Bank; two brothers Roger (Norina) Fisher of Wyota. Raymond (Becky) Fisher of Cape Coral, Florida; Aunt Louella Stiffarm of Hays; uncles, Lonnie (Kathy) Deserly of Helena, MT; cousins Mella Marlon, Moses of Hays, Milo Stiffarm of Minneapolis, MN, Velma Haws of St. Anthony, Idaho, Clayton and Donald Reum of Wolf Point; nephews Sam Birdtail of Cut Bank, Charles and Amanda Polchis of New Brunswick, Canada and Jade and Buckley Cole Ackerman of Missoula, MT.
Preceding her in death was her father Gerald Leo Brown, baby girl Morin; several uncles, aunts and cousins on both sides of her family.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, 102 Custer Street, Wolf Point, MT. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, 102 Custer Street, Wolf Point, MT. Interment will follow at Chicken Hill Cemetery.
