Edwin John Reddoor III, also known as Big John Lodmell, age 52, passed away February 11, 2009 at Poplar Community Hospital.
He was born February 3, 1957 in Poplar to E.J. Reddoor and Mavis Sedberry.
John grew up in Poplar attended schools and graduated from Poplar High School in 1975. He went on to attend college at Northern Montana in Havre, MT. John moved to Arizona and attended college in Prescott, AZ. He lived in Arizona from 1975 to 1997 when he returned to his home town of Poplar.
John enjoyed panning for gold, hunting, fishing and cooking. He worked for Fort Peck Tribes in Operations and Maintenance.
John is survived by his father, EJ (Linda) Reddoor of Poplar and his mother, Mavis (Larry) Sedberry of Cottonwood, AZ; his siblings: Al (Wanda) Lodmell of Prescott Valley, AZ, Steve (Mary Ann) Lodmell of Cottonwood, AZ, Gary (Lisa) Lodmell of Cottonwood, AZ, Delrae Reddoor, Reese (Missy) Reddoor, Faith (Dunn) O’Conner, Willis (Paula) McClammy and Haven (Frank) Gourneau all of Poplar, Pat (Theresa) McClammy of Wolf Point, MT and Robert (Annie) McClammy of Poplar; his life companion, Dolly Crowe of Poplar; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Lodmell, stepfather, Larry Lodmell, sister, Anne McClammy and grandparents, Eddie Reddoor and Josephine Reddoor.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Family Service at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2009 at the Poplar Cultural Center, Poplar, MT. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Poplar Cultural Center, Poplar, MT. Interment will be at Chelsey Cemetery, Poplar, MT.
