Eldon Youngman, age 55, of Poplar, MT went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2013.
Eldon was born to William Youngman, Jr. and Stella Coulter Youngman. Eldon was the youngest of the family. He was born on December 29, 1958 in Poplar.
Eldon got his education in Poplar School which he left school to go work at A&S Industries. He later got his G.E.D. and he attended the Fort Peck Community College in Poplar.
Eldon enjoyed being with family members and often stayed with his sister, Doris, in Harlem, MT while attending powwows in the area. He enjoyed attending powwows across the reservation. Eldon leaves many friends and family members.
Eldon is survived by his brother, Leonard Youngman of Poplar; sister, Doris Youngman Gone and her husband, Gene Gone of Harlem; aunts, Rita Long Chase and Florence Youngman; uncle, Mike Youngman, Sr. of Washington; favorite nieces, Jeanie Gone of Harlem and Joe Youngman of Poplar; friends of the Youngman family, Myrna Charboneau and family, the Pederson family, Lucille, Richard, and James Holen, Ed De Leon and family, Marie Yellow Owl and family, the Dratz girls, Rich De Leon and family, Janet and Jim Spencer and family of Idaho, Joanne Browning and family, Georgia Red Eagle and family, Tom Escarcega, Sr. and family, and the Wakan family; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.
A prayer service will be held from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday, November 1 at the Lindsey Memorial Presbyterian Church in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, November 2 at the Lindsay Memorial Presbyterian Church in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Box Elder Cemetery in Poplar.
