On November 13, 2023, Elisha Ann “Tiny” TalksDifferent -Beston, “Giya Ota Wiya-Comes Flying Woman”, passed away at the Wolf Point ER due to illness.
Elisha was born October 2, 1977 in Ft. Belknap, Mt to Michael G. TalksDifferent and Marlene A. Steele. Tiny grew up on the Ft. Peck and Ft. Belknap reservations. In 1996 Tiny moved to Wolf Point where she remained until her death. She was a CNA at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home. Tiny loved to bake; she was always making frybread, cinnamon rolls, bread and cookies. Tiny loved to visit her family and friends; she was always teasing and having a good time. Tiny loved to take care of people, she was always looking out for others. She wanted to make sure people were fed and warm. Tiny met and married Royce Follet, they were together for 10 years. Tiny had 4 children, Lori Ann TalksDifferent, Seth Laverdure, Joseph and Baily Beston, and 2 grandchildren, Payton and Kasey.
Tiny is survived by her husband, Royce Follet; children Seth, Joseph, & Baily; her father, Michael TalksDifferent; sisters, Joanne, Valerie (Bill), Kelly (Andy), Mariel (Dwight), Dori, Tisha, Ada, Shelley (Monte), Carrie; and numerous nieces & nephews and extended family.
Tiny is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene; step mom Mari; sisters, Gerarda, Anna; brother, Richard; daughter, Lori Ann; and numerous other family members.
Tiny will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed. Legends never die.
A prayer service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, November 16 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 17 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the King Memorial Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
