Emily Marie Walker Brown was born on October 12, 1998 in Great Falls, Montana and was raised in Wolf Point, Montana. She made her journey on October 12, 2022.
Emily went to school in Wolf Point and Brockton. During her time in school, she played Basketball with her sisters, KayLiegh, Cheryl, and Codi. She loved being around her sisters and playing sports with them. Emily also joined boxing at the Boys and Girls Club.
Emily also liked learning her Oceti Sakowia Culture and Language, she attended many ceremonies throughout her life, inipis-sweats, uwipis and sundances, dancing and praying for her families.
Emily was a jingle dress dancer, in her younger years, her Unci Barbara would take her around to all the Wacipis Celebrations.
Emily is preceded in spirit by her mother, Bertha Walker of Macey, Nebraska; and baby sister, Kimimila Brown, of Wolf Point, Montana.
Emily is survived by her siblings, Patrick Joseph Brown and his son Andrew Brown of Regina, Sask. Canada, Francine Ann Brown and her daughter Reese Brown, of Regina, Sask. Canada, Kevin Wayne Brown of Wolf Point, Montana, Canté Wasté Brown of Wolf Point, Montana, Kayleigh Jones and her two children, Daylen Shawn Ownspipe and Nicosia Ellen Ownspipe of Wolf Point, Montana, Cheryl Ownspipe Eagle and her daughter Rileigh Bear of Wolf Point, Montana, Codi Jones of Wolf Point, Montana, Isabella Jones of Wolf Point, Montana, Kokipasni Owaci “Soni” Ownspipe of Wolf Point, Montana; her other mother, Sandra Ownspipe of Wolf Point, Montana; her aunt, Stacey Cambel, who was a mother to her, of Wolf Point, Montana; aunt, Rosanna and Crystal Walker of Macey, Nebraska; uncles, Larry Martin of Wolf Point, and Weyne “Poody” Saunders; aunties, Shelly Althani of Doha Ouatar, and Helen Martin of Billings, Montana.
Emily leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cousins, too many to mention.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the New Wolf Point Community Hall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Wolf Point Community Hall. Interment will follow at Poplar City Cemetery.
