Ervin Alwayne Clark, age 53, passed away on January 20, 2021 at his residence in Wolf Point, MT. Big Erv was born on November 27, 1967 in Gary, IN to Walter Ervin and June Clark.
Ervin graduated from Frazer High School in 1986, where he played basketball and ran cross country. One season Ervin was a firefighter, he received his CDL and drove truck off and on for Gourneau Construction and Flynn Construction. Ervin was a good cook; he has cooked many meals for his family’s functions. He loved to visit and laugh with everyone, he was a kind and gentle soul, who would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was very fond and thought of his fellow street people as not only friends, but family as well. Ervin was willing to help everyone. He loved to hunt, fish and camp in his younger years. Ervin also liked to watch people play pool.
Ervin is survived by his only daughter, Katelyn (Jeffery) Walking Eagle; his sisters Kristine Clark, Kimberly (Charles) Johnson; his brother, Richard (Marla) Clark; nephews Kristofer Clark, Stephen and Michael Bearcub, KC Johnson, Bradley and Brett Clark; nieces Mabel Clark and Linnea Clark; uncles Robert Daniels, Roy Daniels; aunties, Clarice Spang, Florence (Jerome) First, Helen (Fred) Bighorn. He had many first cousins which were raised as brothers and sisters and numerous grandchildren. Ervin has many friends who he considered family.
Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and June Clark; paternal grandparents Walter and Nellie Clark; maternal grandparents Randolph and Mabel Daniels; uncles, Calvin, William Ernie, Donald “Duck” Clark, Alan Daniels; aunties, Bernadine Wallace, Rita Track; cousins, Laramie “Fooge” Wallace, Lanelle Wallace, Randy Headdress, and Jason Bighorn; his grandson Aaron Johnson, who was born on his birthday.
