Francine Faith Buckles, age 37, passed away February 12, 2008 in Minot, North Dakota due to natural causes.
Francine was born May 23, 1970 to Gloria and Raymond Buckles. She attended Poplar School, Flandreau South Dakota and Fort Peck Community College. Francine married Carlos Pedraza, Jr. and they were together for twelve years.
Francine enjoyed friends and relatives. She loved to laugh, listen to music, dance, sing, quilt and read.
Francine is survived by her sons and daughters, Brandon Buckles of Helena, Montana, Carlos Pedraza III, Chrystal (Taylor) Pedraza-Comes Last, Quinten, Preston, Precious and Montoya Pedraza, Michael Young, Jr. (Mr. Mike) and Kayla Young, all of Poplar; brothers, Conrad Buckles, Frank Buckles and Arlen Chapman, all of Poplar; sisters, Commilla “Cissy” Buckles of Minot, North Dakota and Karen Buckles of Poplar; favorite nieces, Chantell and Lacey Buckles of Helena, and Tana Buckles of Poplar; favorite nephew JD Bergie of Minot; numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren; the Iron Bear family; the Eagle Boy family; the Buckles family; the Red Eagle family and the Sparvier family.
Francine is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Buckles; brother, Roger Buckles; Grandparents, Matthew & Rose Eagle Boy and Mary Red Feather; numerous uncles and aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Prayer Service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will be immediately following at the Poplar City Cemetery.
