Francine Iceman

January 19, 1972 — February 13, 2021

Francine Lynette Iceman, 49, went home to Heaven on February 13, 2021 to be with all her relatives who passed before her.

She was born in Poplar on January 19, 1972 to Frances Nation and Leslie “Sandy” Grainger.

Francine grew up and attended schools in Poplar and many other various places.  Throughout her school years she participated in cheerleading and volleyball.  She decided not to finish school and instead got her GED.

She worked many jobs as a teen and a young adult such as cleaning bars, A&S Industries and wild life firefighter, where she eventually found her calling was a CNA at the Poplar Community Hospital where she worked for over 20 years.

Francine enjoyed staying home, being with her family and friends, cruising, fishing and being with her animals.  Everyone said she could always tell a good story and forever had them laughing.

She is survived by sons Francis “Chips” Grainger, Rodell Loegering, Riley Loegering and her pride and joy, grandson Baby Riley Del Loegering; mother Frances Nation; brothers Donald Iceman and Lloyd Iceman; sister Ramona Iceman; auntie Jewell Jannah and Jolene Jeffrey; uncles Thomas “Pudd” Brown, Louie Youpee, Darrell “Curly” Youpee’ spouse (of nearly of 20 years) Emery Lester.  The many other relatives, Draszt, Diserly, Youpee, Smith, Chaney, Mavis Loegering, Dawn Loegering Johnstone, Brandy Smith, Vermae Smith, Marcus Chaney, Tamirra Chaney, Donovan Menz Jr., Donald “Sonny Boy” Iceman, CJ Eagleboy, JJ Iceman, Terry Redd, Michael Brown, Jason Brown.

Francine was preceded in death by her father Leslie Grainger; sister Robin Ann Iceman; grandparents Ramona Brown, Louie Youpee Sr., Anna and Bill Coulter; uncle Ronnie Grainger; auntie Bonnie “Chickie” Weinberger; cousin Raymond Brown.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.  We love you Francine.
