Frank Joseph Clampitt of Oswego, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the St. Vincent hospital in Billings, Montana. Frank was born October 2, 1958 to Frank and Joan Clampitt. He graduated High School in 1976. Later that year, he joined the army and served until 1980. He made life-long friends there.
On October 23, 1982 he married his wife Cynthia (Cindy) Laducer in Williston, North Dakota. They welcomed four children; Jammie Clampitt, Frank Clampitt II, Cassie Clampitt, and Colby Clampitt. Frank was a family man who truly enjoyed his children, through the good and bad times. He also really enjoyed his grandkids. He was a very kind man and would be there for anyone who needed his help. He also enjoyed being crazy sitting with the dogs outside. Frank always said “life is a learning lesson”.
Frank worked for the IRR for many years. He enjoyed the hard work. He loved to go fishing with his children and make memories. He really did enjoy the outdoors. The love he had for his kids will never be broken.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his four children, his wife, and his ten grandkids (Jaidyn, Zane, Miley, Frankie III, Prestyn, Claire, Azalea, Cleo, Sapphyre, and Micah). He is also survived by an uncle Hank Clampitt of Glasgow, Montana and aunts Roberta Danielson of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Sheryl Murdoch of Great falls, Montana, and Phyllis Birkoski of Great Falls, Montana.
Frank will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 22 at the Wolf Point Community Hall. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
