George O. Mcclammy Jr.

September 26, 1955 — November 30, 2018

George Orville McClammy was born to godly parents, George McClammy Sr. and Etheline Iyola Bear Cub, on Sept. 26, 1956. George was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints & was strong in his faith.

George graduated from Wolf Point High School and then went on to BYU, Dawson CC, and NAES College. He graduated from Fort Peck Community College with an Associate of Arts general studies 1989. George worked at Fort Peck oil and gas as a surveyor for many years.

George was a very traditional man and loved traditional music. He was always happy and loving. George had the nicest smile around. He could be a comedian at times and made everyone around him laugh. George had a big heart and was very loyal to all that came unto him. George wanted the best out of life. He loved to play basketball, he would at times drag his little brother Vince up to the courts & they would battle the boards before going home with either a turned ankle or skinned up knees from the asphalt. George was a hard worker. George loved animals and was an avid hunter. George also liked to fish and was an all-round sportsman. He was a very smart man, you could always catch him with his newspaper doing crossword puzzles.

George met Connie Berger and out of this union came Kris Rush. George later had a union with Connie Dionne out of this came Royce McClammy. George married Valarie Smith in 12/03/1984 and out of this union came Jessica McClammy Ruffing. George then married Nadine Shawl on 07/13/2001. He loved all his children and grandchildren with all his heart and was very proud of all of them.

George was preceded in death by his mother, Etheline Iyola Bear Cub; father, George Sydney McClammy; and younger sister, Bernadine BearCub.

George is survived by his children, Kris Rush (husband Chad Rush, kids Spencer, Colton, Nikki) Royce McClammy (kids, Josh McClammy and Aaron Gunner) Jessica Ruffing (husband Slade, kids Shayna, Piper, Chance, Chase) Kelly Baker Aune (Vivian), Scobey Baker (Davis), Jennifer Baker Medicine Cloud (Gillian, Grace, Geordy); brothers and sisters, Johnny Lee Stiffarm Wolf Point, Velvet and Bo Schneider Kansas, Gaynell Mcclammy Wolf Point, Vincent and Twyla Bear Cub Poplar, Faith and Dunn O’Connor Poplar, Willis and Brenda McClammy Wolf Point, Haven and Frank Gourneau Poplar, Pat McClammy Wolf Point, Robert McClammy Wisconsin. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be  held 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
