Gerron Rance Summers, Red Feather Weaka Duta, went home to be with Wakantanka on August 7, 2021 in Poplar, MT. Gerron was born on April 21, 1986 to Randy and Kelly Summers, the oldest of the three. He lived in Poplar for most of his life.
Gerron grew up with his two younger siblings Gerris and James (Shabz) in the town of Poplar. While growing up, he was raised with all his cousins who here like his brothers and sisters as well In 2001, he met Misty Menz and together had four children, Jerek his leprechaun baby, his Kierabeans, the twins Kyle and Kayden. Later he met Alex Kirn and from this union came Markus. Gerron loved and was proud of all his children. Gerron listened to a wide variety of music. He was always working and helping out around town and volunteered at many community events. Gerron could be found at random places with random people having a good time. He was admired for his hard work, ambition, and helping others. Gerron liked to listen to music and visit. You would always see him around doing odd jobs for everyone and helping anyone he could. Gerron had a big heart and an old soul. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and all the odd jobs you would see him at. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will always be remembered by his favorite saying “I’m the leader!”
Gerron is survived by his children, Jerek, Keira, Kyle, Kayden, and Markus, his siblings, Gerris and Shabz, his girlfriend Chrystal Lambert and their grandkids, Jayla, Bailey, Ryker, Jeremiah, his Aunties, Marva, Monita, Shannon, Leeyo, Anita, Franci, uncles, Arlon, Dana, Kevin, Lance, Stormy, Tracy, good friends, Iris Mckay, Dunn O’Conner, Bosh Gourneau, Milo White Tail all his cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas too numerous to mention, the Four Stars, Eders, Chapmans, Summers Families.
Gerron is proceeded in death by his parents, Randy and Kelly Summers, brother JD Summers, Gramma Minerva Alberts, Grandpa Victor Four Star, Gramma Duck (Amelia Summers), Grandpa Goose (James Summers), Uncles Rick, Jamie, Mac Summers, and Thomas Firemoon, cousins Brian Chapman, Kelly Minerva Chapman.
A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Augusts 18, 2021 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Cremation will follow services.
