Harley Will

April 29, 1936 — May 17, 2011

Harley Will, 75, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Med Center One in Bismarck, ND of unknown natural causes.

Harley was born April 29, 1936 in Wishek, ND to William and Amelia Will.

On June 2, 1961 he married Pat Carpenter in Reserve, MT. Harley and Pat moved to Wolf Point from Plentywood in 1962. Harley loved Wolf Point and ALL of the people in it. He was a member of the Wolf Point Elks Lodge and Lions Club and a big fan of all of the Wolf Point Wolves teams.

Harley worked for Equity Elevator and Servisoft (his favorite boss ever, Riley Ostby) but made his career with Interstate Brands selling Eddy’s and Sweetheart Bread. Even though he made this his career for 27 ½ years and retired 17 years ago, he was still everyone’s “Sweetheart”, Suzy’s “Garbage Fairy” and the W.O.W. “Water Boy”.

Harley was a true gentleman. He had a smile for everybody he met and after visiting with Harley once, you were no longer a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucille and brother, Dave.

Harley is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Pat Will of Wolf Point; daughter, Suzy Will of Wolf Point; son, Dan Will of Wolf Point; daughter-in-law, Chris Will of Wolf Point; grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley both of Wolf Point; brothers, Harold Will, Arden (Carla) Will and Earl (JoAn) Will; sisters, Laura (Dave) Johnston, Dyan McCory, Leona (Roy) Westman, and LaVina Metze; sister-in-laws, Ada, Jerry, Sally and Virginia Carpenter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends across Northeastern Montana and North Dakota

Visitation will be held 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, May 20 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Harley’s funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Wolf Point High School auditorium in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
