Harry Lewis Beauchamp III “Mountain Eagle Boy” age 15, went to be with the Creator on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Ronan, MT.
Harry was born March 13, 1995 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Ronan to Harry Lewis Beauchamp, Jr. and Melissa “Missy” Del McLeod. He was raised in Oswego, MT and educated in Frazer, MT. He was looking forward to going to school. Harry loved school, and sports. He played football, basketball, track and cross country. Harry was a Native Craftsman. He tanned hides with his father. He made artwork and regalia with his uncle David Chase. Harry was a tradition native man who loved to dance traditional dances and sing with his hand drum. He was a Firekeeper at Sundance and a representative of The Youth Tribal Council for Fort Peck Assiniboines. Harry was a born leader and a loving brother.
Harry was a hunter and fisherman. He was real outdoorsman who wouldn’t hesitate to go out and hunt alone. He had a big heart and accepted everyone without judgment. He was a handsome young man with a pure heart. He loved spending time with his girlfriend Torie Martell, the love of his life.
Harry was preceded in death by his grandma’s and grandpa’s, uncles, aunties, too numerous too count. He is joined in death by his little brother, Dennis Albert Beauchamp.
He is survived by his father, Harry Beauchamp, Jr.; mother, Melissa “Missy” McLeod of Oswego; sisters, Candice “Candy” Beauchamp of Seattle, WA, Mourning Dove Beauchamp of Whitefish, MT and Cherish Rose Beauchamp of Oswego; uncles, aunties and cousins too many to name.
A Wake began at his Aunt Sylvia’s house in Ronan, Sunday August 15th. A Wake will be held 7 p.m. August 17 at the Oswego Community Hall. His Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. August 18, 2010 at the Frazer High School. Internment will follow at Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery.
