Helen Boyd

March 21, 1967 — March 1, 2020

Helen Roberta Boyd passed away at home on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Miles City. She along with her twin brother Patrick James Boyd were born to Geraldine Spotted Bird and Lionel D. Boyd in Great Falls, MT on March 21st, 1967.
That following year, the family including her two older brothers; Eugene and George, moved back to Poplar on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation where they bought a home in Brockton. There she attended both Barbara Gilligan Elementary and Brockton, Poplar High Schools.
In 1984, Helen with her Mom, Patrick and George, moved to Bangs Texas where at the age of 17, She accepted Jesus Christ in her heart as Lord and Savior of her life. There she attended New Testament Holiness Church pastored by Franklin Baron; the mother church of The Jesus Christ Ministry founded by Brother David Terrell who she continued to follow through You tube until her death.
In 1993 she moved back to Brockton to take care of her mother’s home, then later in 2005 Helen moved to Miles City, MT. Throughout all the trials and tribulations of her life she retained her love for God and His Word. She was a devoted Christian and a witness of the love of “JESUS CHRIST OF NAZERETH, MY LORD AND SAVIOR HALLELUJAH” (as she often posted on Facebook) by always praying, sharing and giving what she had wholeheartedly. She would from time to time visit, pray and take care of the sick and shut in. Helen was known by many for her love of cooking and making sharing her mom’s frybread recipe.
She was proceeded in death by her Aunts Veronica Mary Spotted Bird, Judith Ann Boyd; uncle Darryl Vernon Boyd, and her beloved mother Geraldine Spotted Bird. She leaves behind her dad Lionel Dwight Boyd (Rose) of Poplar, MT, Eugene Charles Boyd (Lynette) of Brockton, MT, George Farrel Boyd (Sandra) of Roundup, MT, her twin, Patrick James Boyd of Brockton, MT; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including her very close friends and neighbors, Ronda Morgan and Kim Oben, both of Miles City, MT.
From Her Brother George: What I am thinking is this, she was always praying for people she knew, whomever she thought needed it, sometimes while she was here with my wife and I, she would fall asleep during her prayers. In a secluded area back behind her home in Miles City, Montana, I believe that she went to pray, and fell asleep during her prayers, it was her favorite place to pray where they found her. To my sister, I will miss you very much, and I WILL see you again when I get there. Tell our loved ones there I LOVE them very much.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!!
