Inez Evelyn Ault, 93, of Vancouver, WA formerly of Wolf Point, MT died June 21, 2012, in Vancouver.
She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, on June 8, 1919, to Carl and Ella Hagen and resided most of her life in eastern Montana. She was baptized, confirmed, and married in the Lutheran Church in Dooley, Montana. She married Guy Ault on Sept. 8, 1940. They resided in Froid and Plentywood until coming to Wolf Point in 1947. It was then that they opened Ault’s Super Valu with Guy’s brothers Burl, Walter, and Duane. She was a homemaker along with managing rental property and enjoyed sewing and ceramics. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star.
She moved to Vancouver, Wa., in 2004 to be close to family and resided at Touchmark Retirement Center until her death.
She is survived by her daughters Donna (Loren) Wagnild, Ridgefield, WA. And Cynthia (Paul) Matejovsky, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; four grandchildren (Gregory Wagnild, Tanya Hamilton, Trina Venard, and Charleton Matejovsky; seven great-grandchildren (Kayla, Ashley, Shannon, Sarah, Molly, Leighton, and Lila; two brothers Dean Hagen and Norman Hagen both of Columbia Falls, Mt. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 29, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Clayton-Stevenson Chapel and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery, Wolf Point, Mt. A family memorial will be held August 11, 2012, in Idaho.
