Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin and dear friend left this world on October 31, 2024. This beautiful soul leaves behind so many broken hearts. She loved whole heartedly and cherished all of her relationships with her family, friends, and coworkers.
She was born in Box Elder, Montana on June 12, 1942 to Jacob Bighorn and Jane Half Red. She joined many loving siblings, cousins and relatives. She graduated from Brockton High School and was a very exceled student.
After high school, she married Michael Wayne Youngman Sr. In that union, they had four children, Michelle Wade, Michelle Youngman Wilsey, Michael (Speedy) Wayne Jr. and Muriel Wynn Youngman.
Upon returning to her home reservation, she learned and became a CNA. She worked at the Poplar Hospital for twenty-eight and a half years. She made so many friendships and took care of her patients the best way she could.
She raised her grandchildren, and gave them a stable and happy home life. For that, she will be forever missed.
She married Dorrance Scott and had an amazing and loving marriage. Also, he left the world early, grandma kept living and love.
We grew up at missionary meetings, ladies aid, or the nursing home. Grandma made sure we loved others more than ourselves; it was an amazing gift she granted us.
Grandma treasured every phone call, visit, and adored her family. She leaves behind so many to mention. But first and foremost, she is joining her sons, Mitchell Wade, Michael (Speedy) Wayne Youngman Jr.; her parents, brothers, sisters, and an enormous amount of family. She is rejoicing in such happiness. We will miss her more than she will ever know, you are truly loved.
A wake will be held on Friday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. at the Brockton Cultural Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Brockton Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Fort Kipp Cemetery.
